Review verification against Google's rules

Did someone post a review that breaks Google's rules?

We read every review against Google's rules and check whether low ratings came in a wave. We point out which ones to report - no account, the result under your own link.

A check starts at 15 zł. You see the final price - calculated from the number of reviews on your profile - in the order, before you pay.

Point to the business whose reviews we should check

Search by name or address.

The result may be empty: if no review breaks Google's rules and low ratings arrived at the profile's usual pace, that is exactly the answer you will get.

The verification needs at least about 98 days of history of 1-2 star reviews. If the profile lacks it, the verification is not produced and the full amount for it is refunded to you without a separate request.

A cluster of reviews is a clue, not proof - an ad campaign, a press mention or a one-day breakdown gives the same shape.

We do not judge any review to be fake - the justification covers only content that breaks Google's rules, usually fewer than one in a hundred reviews.

How it works

  1. You give us your Google Maps profile and pay once.
  2. We fetch the public reviews, compare each two-week period with your usual pace and read every review against Google's rules.
  3. You get a page with the “what to report” list, a ready-made justification and instructions. You send the report yourself.

This is what the result looks like

This is exactly the page you get under your own link. Map links are disabled here because the venue is masked.

How to report

  1. Report the review on Google Maps

Do this for each review on the list below. One review takes a few seconds.

    1. 1.1Press “Open and report” next to a review below - Google Maps opens in a new tab, on your business profile.
    2. 1.2Find the same review in the review list. You will recognise it by the date and the first words - both are on the card next to it.
    3. 1.3On the right of the review, level with the author's name, press the three-dot icon (see the picture below).
    4. 1.4In the menu that opens, choose “Report review”.
    5. 1.5Google asks for a reason. Pick the one closest to the basis given next to the review - for example “Profanity” or “Off topic”.
    6. 1.6Confirm. At this stage Google gives you NO space for text - the wording goes in at step 2.

    Report review

The three-dot icon next to a review on Google Maps. Pressing it opens the “Report review” entry.
  2. Appeal with the ready wording

Wait 3 working days - that is how long Google needs before a reported review shows up in the appeals tool.

    1. 2.1After 3 working days open Google's review management tool - the link is right below these steps.
    2. 2.2Sign in with the Google account that manages the business profile.
    3. 2.3Pick your business from the list.
    4. 2.4You will see the reviews you reported. Tick the ones you want to appeal - at most 10 at a time.
    5. 2.5Press the appeal button (“Submit appeal”).
    6. 2.6In the explanation field paste the ready wording from this page - take it with the “Copy wording” button next to the review.
    7. 2.7Send the form.
  3. Wait for Google's decision

The answer comes by e-mail. The decision is Google's alone.

    1. 3.1You appeal ONCE per review - a second one on the same matter will not go through. So report only items from this list.
    2. 3.2Tick here what you have already reported - the list remembers it in this browser.
    3. 3.3If Google refuses, the review stays and there is no further appeal.

Unusual periods

#1

13.02.2019 - 25.02.2019

1-2 ★

In that time 19 reviews rated 1-2 came in, where about 2.4 is usual.

More of the other ratings arrived in this period as well (50 against about 12.0 usual) - it looks like a busy period at the venue, not an unusual inflow. We name no candidates from this period.

An unusual period is circumstantial evidence, not proof. We do not rule on the truth of any review; you submit the report yourself, and Google decides.

Wording is proposed by a language model solely from facts about your profile, checked by code, and the decision to submit is yours.

What this study can and cannot do

What it costs

Above 15,000 reviews we quote individually - get in touch.

At every tier we read the text of every review on your profile - not a sample, not selected periods. That is why the price follows how many there are.

When buying a one-time report you can add this study from 9 PLN - the reviews are then fetched once, for both services.
